Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented Technology Project Manager, experienced in managing the delivery of Cisco and Microsoft solutions, and familiar with Service Delivery Management and/or Outsourcing Transition Management to join our Team.  The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the successful delivery of large, complex technology projects to a variety of clients in the tri-state area.

The Project Manager (PM) coordinates and manages all aspects of a project including: requirements gathering, project plan and timeline, identification of resources,  scheduling of resources, vendor coordination, oversight of purchasing, customer and internal communications, project reporting, issue resolutions, cost tracking and change management.  Additionally the PM ensures that delivered projects meets the Company’s design specifications, quality standards and timelines.  Success in this position is measured by project profitability and overall client satisfaction.


  • Lead and coordinate multiple simultaneous client projects across company specialty areas.
  • Maintain overall accountability for the project team and the successful delivery of the project
  • Create/nurture client relationships to facilitate current and future work
  • Lead/participate in client and internal meetings to understand project scope and requirements
  • Create/Maintain a detailed Project Plan and Timeline for the project
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks via agreed upon project communication plan
  • Work with Purchasing Manager to ensure that project equipment is ordered for on-time delivery.
  • Manage and oversees selected 3rd party vendors participating in projects
  • Communicate regularly with customers to manage expectations and maintain relationship.
  • Track costs and manage project scope to ensure profitability of project.


  • Overall working knowledge of technical systems architecture, and practice area solutions to enable meaningful dialogue with customers and engineers. 
  • Knowledge of Cisco solutions – a big plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft solution – highly desired
  • Strong customer service skills, including patience and the ability to manage expectations
  • Proven organizational and follow-up skills – detail orientation
  • Project and time management skills  
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
  • ITIL Certification and/or understanding – highly desired
